November Favourites

Jeeze, how is it already the last day of November? This month seriously flew by, and on that note, I would like to apologize for my lack of posts this month. But one of my goals for December is to get back into the swing of posting more often. (and hopefully on a schedule too!) To view the rest of my goals you can check out my goals post here !

In case you haven’t caught on yet… Christmas is probably my favourite time of the year. Yes, even more than fall. Holiday palettes and gift sets, pretty snow, bright lights, candy cane hot chocolate, the festiveness; There’s just nothing better.

So enough about my love of Christmas… let’s get onto the good stuff, the things that I have been loving throughout the month of November.

The first item this month is the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask from the Body Shop. OH. MY. GOODNESS. This mask tho. Seriously… amazing. So amazing that I already have a full post on it here! The mask is filled with so many good things for your skin; Charcoal, Green Tea leaves and Tea Tree oil all work together to leave your skin feeling fantastic.Himalayan Charcoal

The second item is Castor Oil, while not quite beauty related this is beginning to be a lifesaver. My poor overplucked brows take forever to grow in. My friend had recommended trying castor oil to help them grow. I have been using it for about 4 days and there are already quite a bit of ugly stray brows that are growing in! To use I take a clean disposable mascara wand (I ordered a bunch of Aliexpress) and dip it in the castor oil. I then brush it into my brows and leave it on overnight.castor oil

The third item is not beauty related whatsoever but it has become a daily essential in my life. The DAVIDsTEA Lock Top Travel Mug. Since starting back to work and having to be up at 7 to get ready caffeine has become a good friend to me. This mug is not only adorable but keeps my tea warm my entire shift. The lock on the lid also ensures that nothing spills in my bag!lock top travel mug

The fourth item is not quite a physical item but a colour scheme. I have fallen in love with the light pink and gold colour scheme. Well, you might have noticed that by the colour scheme of my blog. But ever since I got my travel mug I just want everything in those colours.

The fifth item is a nail polish. I’ve had this one for a couple years but just began to use it again with my pink and gold addiction. The colour is Carla by Julep. I received this probably 2-2.5 years ago when I was subscribed to Julep. It’s the perfect light pink and the formula is so smooth, opaque and it barely chips! I’ve had it on my nails for 3 days now and there’s only a couple spots that chipped.carla julep

and now onto my favourite music for the month. And let’s be honest there’s probably no surprise that the entire playlist is Christmas… I may or may not be the type of person who occasionally listens to Christmas music in July and November 1, I begin a binge of Christmas music

What’s your favourite Christmas song?
